Mission Mayhem Robotics Competition Hosted at Dillard 6-12 School

WHO:

Anyone interested in STEM and Robotics and students from Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

WHAT:

Five hundred middle and high school students will converge at Dillard 6-12 School for Mission Mayhem, a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Off Season Robotics Event.

Saturday, October 21, 2017

  • 8:00 AM – Opening Ceremonies
  • 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM – Qualification Matches
  • 12:45 PM – 1:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30 PM – Alliance Selection
  • 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Elimination Round
  • 4:45 PM – Awards

Dillard 6-12 School

WHY:

Students in the Emerging Computer Technology magnet program at Dillard 6-12 School will compete with other students interested in robotics. Groups of students work together to design a team brand, sharpen teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get!
